How to convert an Instagram reel to MP3

Why the conversion runs in your browser
Most “Instagram to MP3” sites upload the video to their own server, convert it there, and hand you a link. That means your file sits on someone else's machine, and you wait in their queue.
Here the reel is fetched straight from Instagram's CDN to your device, and the audio is decoded and encoded locally. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and there is no queue to wait in.

What you can and can't do with the audio
This tool only works with public posts, and it is meant for personal use: keeping a sound you like, saving your own reel's audio, pulling a quote out of a talk.
Most Instagram audio is somebody's work. If the reel uses a licensed music track, downloading it does not license it — re-uploading it, selling it, or putting it in monetised content still needs permission from the rights holder.
Private accounts are out of scope. If a post is on a private account you do not follow, there is no legitimate way to pull its audio, and this tool will not pretend otherwise.
