How to view someone's Threads without an account
Type their username into the box above, with or without the @, or paste a link to their profile (threads.com/@name or threads.net/@name). Press View Threads and you get their name, bio and follower count, then their posts with the newest first.
Each post shows its text, its photos and videos, and how many likes, replies and reposts it has. Tap a photo or video to open it full screen and download it. Load more goes further back, 10 posts at a time.
A Threads username is always the person's Instagram username, so if you know one, you know the other.
Why not just open threads.com?
You can, for a while. Public profiles open in a browser without an account, but after a few posts Threads covers the page with a sign-up prompt, and you cannot search for people at all while logged out.
This viewer reads the same public profile and lists the posts without that interruption, and it gives you a download button for the media.
Will they know I looked at their Threads?
No. Threads does not show anyone who viewed their profile or their posts. Post view counts on Threads are just a number, with no names behind it.
This page never signs in to Threads or Instagram as you, so there is no account of yours anywhere near the request. No follow, no notification, nothing in their activity.
What this viewer can and cannot see
Any public Threads profile works: the profile, the posts on it, the photos and videos in them, and the like, reply and repost counts.
It does not show private profiles, not here and not on any website that claims otherwise. It also does not show who liked a post, the replies under it, or the Replies tab of a profile. Those need a logged-in account.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I view Threads without an account?
- Yes, for public profiles. Enter the username above and the profile and posts load without a Threads or Instagram account. Private profiles need an approved follower, so no website can show them.
- Can someone see that I viewed their Threads profile?
- No. Threads has no list of profile visitors and does not notify anyone when their profile or posts are viewed.
- Is there an anonymous Threads viewer?
- This page is one. It reads public profiles without signing in as you, so nothing links the visit to your account.
- Can I see a private Threads account?
- No. A private profile's posts are only visible to followers it approved. Sites that claim to unlock private accounts are scams.
- Can I download Threads photos and videos?
- Yes. Open any photo or video from the list and press Download. For a single post you already have the link to, the Threads Video Downloader does the same.
- Why does it say the profile doesn't exist?
- Threads profiles use the Instagram username, so a missing dot or underscore lands on a different account or none. Some Instagram users have also never joined Threads.
