Instagram Post Viewer

Type their username into the box above, with or without the @, or paste a link to their profile. To open one specific post instead, paste its link: on Instagram, tap the share icon under the post (or the ⋯ menu), then Copy link. It looks like instagram.com/p/… or instagram.com/reel/….

Press View posts. For a username you get their profile picture, name, follower and following counts, and a grid of their 12 most recent posts. For a post link you get that post with every photo and video in it.

Tap any post to open it. Carousels show each slide separately, videos play with sound, and every item has a download button.

The 12 most recent posts on a public account: single photos, every slide of a carousel, and videos and Reels that were posted to the grid. That is about what a logged-out visitor gets before Instagram asks them to sign in, and it is the same for every viewer site that doesn't use a real account.

For anything older, paste the post's link. A link opens that one post however old it is, as long as the account is public and the post hasn't been deleted or archived.

The page shows the media, not the conversation around it. Captions, like counts and comments are not part of the grid. To see who liked a post and read its top comments, paste the link into the Likes Viewer.

No. Instagram doesn't record who looked at a feed post, on any account, and there is no list of post viewers to appear in. That is true even when you browse with your own account, and here you don't use one at all.

What people can see is interaction: a like, a comment, a share to a DM, or a save shows up in their notifications or insights. Business and creator accounts get a count of accounts reached, never names. As long as you only look, nothing reaches them.

Stories are different. A Story has a viewer list, so opening one from your account puts your name on it. If that is what you want to look at, the Anonymous Story Viewer shows Stories without adding you to that list.

No. A private account's posts are only sent to followers it has approved, and Instagram enforces that on its own servers. No website or app gets around it, this one included. Sites that advertise a “private Instagram post viewer” end in a survey wall, an app download or a form that asks for your Instagram password.

If you enter a private account here, the page tells you it is private and stops. The only real way to see its posts is to send a follow request.

Every photo and video you open here has a download button. Use Download all on a carousel to save every slide at once. Photos save as JPG and videos as MP4 with sound.

If you already have the post's link and just want the file, the Photo Downloader and the Video Downloader go straight to it. Downloading a public post for yourself doesn't notify the owner. It still belongs to them, so ask before you repost it and give credit.
