Instagram Follower Viewer

An Instagram follower viewer lets you look at the followers of a public account from outside the app. You type a username and get a list of people who follow that account, without opening Instagram, without an account and without the owner being told.

Instagram itself shows a follower list to anyone who is logged in, but you have to be signed in, the list is endless to scroll and there is no way to save it. This page fetches the list for you and turns it into something you can read in a few seconds or keep as a spreadsheet.

Type the username into the box above. You can also paste their profile link (instagram.com/name) or an @handle; the tool picks the username out of it.

Press View followers. The tool checks that the account exists and is public, then lists up to 50 of its followers with their profile pictures, names and a verified badge where there is one.

Tap any name to open that profile on Instagram, or press Download CSV to save the list with usernames, full names and profile links. Nothing is sent to the account you looked up, and you never log in.

A private account's followers are only shown to people the owner has approved. No website can get around that, and any tool that says it can is either guessing or asking for your password. If an account is private, the tool tells you so instead of showing an empty list.

Instagram hands out follower lists a page at a time and stops early for large accounts, so a free lookup shows up to 50 followers. For a small account that can be almost everyone; for a celebrity it is a sample.

The list is also not sorted by when people followed. Instagram's follower list mixes recent followers with older ones, so read it as who follows the account, not who followed most recently.

After a lookup, Download CSV saves the list as a file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Each row has the username, the full name, the profile link and whether the account is verified or private. Names in any language and emoji stay readable.
