Blackletter is a real Unicode alphabet
The gothic letters here are the Fraktur block, added so mathematicians could write ℌ for a Hamiltonian without switching fonts. That heritage is why five of the capitals — C, H, I, R and Z — sit somewhere else entirely, in the Letterlike Symbols block, and why a naive generator produces boxes for exactly those five letters.
Bold Fraktur has no such gaps, which makes it the more reliable of the two if your text happens to contain them.
Legibility at bio size
Blackletter is dense and was designed for print at a much larger size than a phone bio. A name or a single word works; a full sentence turns into texture.
If people search for your name, it will not match the gothic version, so keep a plain spelling somewhere on the profile.

Is gothic the same as old English text?
In practice yes — old English, blackletter and Fraktur all refer to this same set of characters in these tools.
Why are some capitals a different shape?
Because five of them come from a different Unicode block, they were drawn by different designers and do not always match the rest perfectly. There is no way around it; those are the only gothic forms of those letters that exist.
Does it work in a TikTok bio?
